Working closely with its suppliers, the Fujitsu General Group promotes
the procurement of products and materials for use in the manufacture of
our own products based on the following policy:
Introduction of Green Procurement
Fujitsu General Group aspires to manufacture products that have the
least harmful impact on the global environment. Our procurement policy
places the highest priority on the protection of the environment.
Fujitsu General Group promotes:
- Procurement from suppliers who proactively promote environmental protection.
- Procurement of materials and products that are environmentally friendly and do not contain harmful substances.

to Fujitsu Group member companies. They also apply to Fujitsu General
Group member companies.

This detailed Specification is Fujitsu General Group' s individual specification limiting the target to RoHS Substances. All products and materials supplied to Fujitsu General Group shall meet this “Specification on Prohibiting Use of Hazardous Substance(Ver. 1.0)” prior to the "Fujitsu Group Green Procurement Direction ( Ver. 4.1 )" or the "General Specification on Substance Control Requirements".
Requirement when submitting the Delivery Specifications
When submitting your Delivery Specifications as for the deliver of materials or products, please also submit the following "Observance Confirmation of Specification on Prohibiting Use of Hazardous Substances" completed necessary information and put your seal with attaching the Dlivery Specifications, provided that you shall comply with the contents of above-mentioned "Specification on Prohibiting Use of Hazardous Substances".

Request to supply envirnmental information about deliverables
Fujitsu General Group is implementing a survey regarding chemical substances contained in suppliers’ products based on a JGPSSI (Japan Geen Procurement Survey Standardization Initiative)’s guideline.
As of February 22, 2007, we conduct a survey regarding chemical substances contained in suppliers’ products in accordance with the Material Composition Survey and Response Manual provided by JGPSSI, which is also compliant with JIG (Joint Indutry Guide).
